The location in the middle of the city was good🙂

The room was simple but tidy, made me feel right at home 🏡. the staff and the host were incredibly friendly. Being so close to the city center was very convenient.

The staff were amazingly nice and helpful day and night. Our double room was modest, light. Comfortable beds, multi-channel television, a fridge and a dining area were a nice touch.

I appreciated this ideal and stunningly beautiful hotel in the middle of the city. Actually, the room was exceptionally nice and clean, it also had a shower and bath sheets. The location was particularly good, overlooking garden. The venue was a brilliant base for enjoying a lovely area...

Had a great time at this place. Stayed for a couple of nights and it was absolutely amazing. the surroundings were beautiful, right by the forest in a charming area. 🌲.

This place is conveniently located near the heart of Golfito and the staff are extremely helpful.

The hotel was stunningly beautiful and the room was amazingly comfortable. The location was adjacent to nature with amazing birds and wildlife, especially many squirrel monkeys. The hotel was also willing to pay for taxis, which was convenient.

The king room was very comfortable, with convenient amenities like a fridge, a dining area, and multi-channel television. The free Wi-Fi was a nice added bonus. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and attentive, which made the experience even better.

We loved the secluded location of the lodge, nestled in the heart of the jungle. It was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. the beautiful grounds offered a chance to be immersed in nature, with monkeys swinging through the trees and a variety of bird species fluttering by.

The pool could have been cleaner and more inviting to use.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the fact that the staff provided us with everything we needed to make our own dinner, as we arrived late. They even gave us a lift into town the next morning and gave us recommendations for breakfast options. Another great aspect was the beautiful grounds, with a lovely garden where we could do yoga and listen to the birds singing. It created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. the WiFi was extremely slow and only available near the office area, which was quite inconvenient.

my recent stay in golfito was a delight, but La Purruja Lodge exceeded all expectations. the outdoor area was a highlight with beautiful gardens and monkeys in the trees. the comfortable rooms had a fan, wifi, and even netflix on the tv. the added touch of a grudge in the room was much appreciated.

I had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful lodge just outside of town, surrounded by a large, well-kept garden. The highlight of my morning was watching monkeys swinging from tree to tree while enjoying breakfast on the patio. Despite being a bit secluded, the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking nature made it all worthwhile. The owner, who had helped us with car troubles in the past, was extremely forthcoming and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Although the nearby town could use some improvement, there were a few good dining venues recommended by the friendly staff. The pool, although slightly dirty, still provided a refreshing swim with the added bonus of observing monkeys in their natural habitat. I highly recommend this lodge for its beauty, hospitality, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location could not have been better. The area is very lush and interspersed with beautiful gardens. Wildlife abounds, including squirrel monkeys, which was a joy to watch in the morning. The owner was extremely accommodating and even went as far as to alert me about a beautiful boa constrictor outside. On my departure day, the owner kindly gave me a ride into town, saving me the cost of a taxi.

The hostel room experience was lacking. The check-in process was awkward, and the final bill was discussed in round figures.
